A Goodbye to 2010...and a BIG HELLO to a big year in 2011!

Hi Family and Friends,
2010 sure was exciting!
Kaili turned 5, Sarai turned 3, and Camryn turned 1, and we celebrated in traditional Welch style with a
BIG CANDYLAND BIRTHDAY!

We spent a great summer camping with family and friends down at Camp Pendelton!

In 2010, we began homeschooling Kaili and Sarai, with a little Camryn in the background. One of our field trips was to the pumpkin patch with our great friends!

We had to say goodbye to our sweet boy Pua'a who lost a battle with Kidney Failure. We love you and miss you boy-boy!

And Mark, Jess, Hana and Ty are expecting their baby brother Wesley here in the next few weeks!

And we welcomed our newest family member Buster (AKA Norman, Jack, Meeko, Mooshoo...still to be nameless)

Our family sure grew in 2010, and 2011 is no exception!
Nathan got a job promotion!
Kristin will continue homeschooling Kaili who will enter 1st grade in the Fall.

Before we check out for 2010, look at our Christmas card for this year, and it will recap our 2011 plans for you all!
Dont forget to watch the video below the picture ;)

God Bless you and yours for a Merry Christmas 2010 and an amazing 2011!

Last day of Kindermusik = Almost time for SUMMER!

We love Kindermusik and we love Mrs. Lisa! Kaili has taken Kindermusik classes with Lisa on and off since she was 6 months old, and it is so fun to see Lisa now interact with Sarai and Camryn (who loves Lisa)!! Thank you for a great semster and we are looking forward to a new class in the fall! And if you live near San Marcos I HIGHLY recommend Lisa! http://www.kindermusik-lisa.com/
It is that time of the year where as a new homeschooling mom, I must make the decision on what curriculum I will use for the new school year! It has been a fun adventure, but stressful to say the least. As a mom, like all of us, we want to make the right decision for our children. I know that the Lord has called me to be a homeschooling mom, now is just the time to follow the path He is leading me on and trust in the decisions we are making together. Kaili will start Kindergarten this September and Sarai will start a Pre-K program.
I have to thank those of you who have supported, guided, prayed and befriended this decision and the process. You are truly a blessing!

So many choices...homeschool mom on a roll!

Last day of May play!

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend hanging out at home and enjoying the nice weather! This is just a glimpse of our daily lives :)

Wild Animal Park

It was Cam's first real trip to the Wild Animal Park now that she is mobile :) It was a fun day!

Mother's Day gift

We are all so excited about my Mother's Day gift. Nate put together a green house and as a family we planted strawberries, green bell peppers, tomatoes and carrots. We are so excited to see the "fruits of our labor" appear before our eyes more and more everyday! And I am excited to offer my family some healthy and money saving fruits and veggies!

Mothers Day Kaili turns 5!

Kaili has the wonderful honor of sharing her birthday with Nates Grandma Welch. Every year we have celebrated the big day with Great Gma and Gpa. This year the celebration also landed on Mother's Day, making the visit much more special! Thank you Grandma Welch for celebrating 2 wonderful birthdays together. Kaili will grow up knowing what a blessing it is to share her birthday with someone so beautiful and special!

A few things we do...

Also, for homeschoolign we took the girls and friends to the Elfin Forest Fire Department and it was GREAT! I highly recommend taking your kids to tour the department, the guys were great and accomodating and so good with the kids! Enjoy the pics!

I want to say a BIG THANKS to all our friends and family who were able to make it out to the girls 1, 3, 5 Candyland Party! It was so much fun to plan and even more fun to see in action! The kids had so much fun seeing everyone and playing with all their friends! We cannot believe that we have a 1, 3 and 5 year old. Life is so good and the kids are so much fun! We cant believe how much they change daily! Enjoy some photos from the eventful day! XOXO

This is the way we play hide and seek..."You cant see me!"
(Sorry for the naked butt!")

Camryn is getting so big! She loves to be a big girl, sitting on her push cart and waving "HI!" to everyone!

We spent the day at Disneyland with Auntie Kim and Grandma Colorado and we had a blast! The kids enjoyed being spoiled by Grandma! It was a perfect day, a little cold, but no lines and little crowds! We really got to enjoy spending the time together!
